What Are iBucks?
iBucks are the virtual currency used by the site to assign a value to each and every game. If you want to think of iBucks in real life, 1 iBuck is roughly equivalent to 1 US dollar.
The flow of a trade therefore goes like this, you choose a game you want to purchase and are required to have the appropriate number of iBucks (which will be deposited in the senders iTrade account once you have received the game in satisfactory condition)

How Do I Trade Games?
All trades are done via a currency system called iBucks. When someone buys a game from you you will receive the appropriate amount of iBucks in your account for that game(once the buyer has received the game) . These iBucks remain in your account until you decide to buy a game from another user and the relevant iBucks are then deducted from your account accordingly.
When someone wants to buy a game they search for the game they want in our database and if the game is available they click on “Copies For Trade” to see the list of iTraders they can receive the game from. From their they can choose which iTrader to get the game from and click on the “Trade” link to initiate a trade. From their you are taken to a page where you can send a preformed game request mail to the owner of the game as well as add any additional info or comments. The game owner receives the request and from there can choose to accept or deny the trade. If accepted the person receiving the game is notified by email that the trade was accepted. The game becomes delisted and is shown as a game trade in progress in both the sender’s and receiver’s control panel. Ibucks are deducted from the receiver’s account and put into holding. The sender now has the option to click on the “Marked As Shipped” link to indicate that the game has been shipped. At this point the sender can also enter in a tracking number if the sender has one. The receiver will receive notification that the game has shipped as well as the tracking number if one is available. Once the game is marked as received the iBucks come out of holding and are deposited into the sender’s account. It is the senders responsibility to send the game to the receiver in a timely fashion. Once the game is received it’s the responsibility of the receiver to check off the game as received in their control panel to complete the trade action.
What is a "Power Trader"?

A power trader is an iTrade member who has shown overall excellence by participating in 50 or more successful trades. They also must have a rating of Very Good or Excellent. In other words, these highly capable iTrade members have proven themselves to be very capable traders and have earned the right to wear the iTrade power trader badge with pride.
What do the game conditions mean?
We use 5 different game conditions to help traders describe the game that they have for trade.
The conditions are :
Excellent : Includes game, box, manual, etc.
Very Good : Includes game, manual, box sleeve.
Good : Includes game and manual.
Fair : Game only.
Poor : Game only, but scratched (still playable).
We require all games to be in working condition. Trading games that are known to be unplayable will result in bad feedback as well as possible termination of your iTrade account.
I have approved a trade but still have no iBucks, why is this and what should I do now?
Do not worry, this is merely part of the system. Once you approve the trade, the appropriate number of iBucks are removed from the buyers account and held in trust by the site. You then ship the game and once the purchaser receives the game, they merely mark it as "received" in their "pending trades" list. The second they mark the game as received, you will instantly have your iBucks released to you and a message will be sent to you informing you of the confirmation.
How should I package the game (s) that I am trading?
This will depend on what it is you are sending. If you wish to send the entire game case with the game, a basic 6 ¼ x 9 3/8, bubble mailer envelope works beautifully as it can be sent through regular mail for a minimal cost. If you are sending disc and printed materials only, ensure that the disk is protected by a standard CD Sleeve to hold the disk in transport. We find that a 5 ¾ X 8 ¾ envelop will fit the disk, manual and paper case sleeve quite nicely.
How should I ship the games?
There are countless methods of shipping and various shipping companies, and you may go with whomever you wish. The Minimum cost for shipping will vary between 1 and 2 dollars. (This is in Canadian currency, the cost may vary for your area). We do not require that you send them express, or registered. However for your protection we do suggest that you get some sort of post tracking / signature on delivery. The cheapest tracking would be to register the letter. This costs 6.25 plus postage in Canada. When you have a tracking number / delivery confirmation you are protected against the game being lost in transit or the possibility that the receiver claims the item never arrived.
Why should I get a delivery confirmation?
We advise you to get the delivery confirmation on shipments to protect yourself. A side benefit is the fact that registered mail tends to move through the system faster and thus gets delivered sooner. However, we recommend getting this to protect yourself from fraud as well as the possibility of the item being lost in transit. You will be protected from fraud if the buyer of your game claims that they never received the game.
If you are dealing with someone that has a very good rating, then the chances are that you do not need to worry about fraud on their end. Although there is still a small possibility of damaged or lost games via the mail system, even if there is no foul play involved. For example, the North American game rental company IOGC.net, sends out hundreds of games a day with minimal game loss. They reported to us that they average a loss or damage of a game via the mail system at about 1 in 3000.
However even the small odds don’t mean you should not protect yourself. Rather, judge each case individually. Is it worth it to spend 7 dollars on a game only worth 15? Probably not, but on that 40 dollar game it probably is.
I received a tracking number when I sent the game, should I send it to the buyer as well?
It is entirely up to you, the important thing is that you have the tracking number to protect yourself. However if you send the tracking number to the buyer, it will place them at ease. As well it will allow them to track the status of their purchase with out having to bother you for the information.
I have requested a game from someone, and they have requested that I send them money instead of using the iTrade system. What should I do?
Do not send them money. This person is attempting to scam both the site and, potentially you. When you choose to bypass the iTrade currency system you lose all of the safe guards that we use to protect you.
If you trade with someone and send them money via other means you have no recourse if that individual chooses not to send you the game.

I am unable to request games, why?
To be able to request a game you need the appropriate number of iBucks in your account to do the trade. You can do this by purchasing iBucks or preferably by trading a game(s). Once you have iBucks in your account you are able to request games. This prevents game request being clogged up by users who are unable to trade.
How Do I Request Games That Are Not Currently Listed As Available?
Search through the games you want via the same method you use to list your own games but instead of adding the game to your collection you click on the “Add To Request List”. From there the game will show up in your control panel in your “Games Requested” list. When someone lists a game that you have requested you will receive a notification in your iTrade inbox as well as by email that one of your requested games is available. Note that some games have multiple requests and iTraders usually send the game to the first person on the request list. You will remain in queue for the game until someone ships you the game.
